Bhopal: A 55-year-old farmer allegedly died by suicide at his home in Khajuri locality on Sunday. No suicide note was recovered but it was revealed that around six months back, his wife went away from home without informing anybody. She took money with her, and the deceased remained depressed over it. Khajuri police registered a case and started investigations.
Investigation officer ASI Bablal Verma said that the deceased Shivcharan Mewada, a resident of Khajuri area, was a farmer. His wife left him around six months back and went away without informing anybody.
ASI Verma said that Shivcharan’s son spotted him vomiting on Saturday late night and found out that he had consumed poison. He rushed him to a hospital where he died while undergoing treatment.
