5 of family die in Chhindwara accident

Bhopal: Five members of a family, including three children, died after a car they were traveling in collided with another car coming from the opposite direction in Chhindwara district.While three of them, including the couple and a toddler, died on Monday evening after the accident, two children died on Tuesday. Another two children of the couple sustained severe injuries and are admitted to the hospital.The accident took place near Ghat Plasiya under Kundipura police outpost on Monday evening.CSP Chhindwara, Ajay Rana, said: "While three, including a couple and their 6-month-old toddler, died on Monday itself as both the cars were damaged. Two other children of the same couple died on Tuesday. The couple was from Chhindwara, and of their five kids, three died. Two children are still admitted to the hospital."Sources said the family of Dinesh Uike, 38, a resident of Chhindwara, was going to Nagpur in his car with his wife Kanchan Uike, 32, and children Sagar, 6 months, Vedansh, 12, Vedant, 11, Devanshi, 9, and Devansh, 5.While the couple and toddler died on Monday, two kids, Vedansh and Devansh, died on Tuesday. Devanshi and Vedant are admitted to the hospital, added the sources.
