42-year-old woman strangled

Ujjain: A 42-year-old woman was strangled by her live-in partner over a dispute about his first marriage in Rajratan Colony of Ujjain, police said on Thursday.
The accused later called up her son and daughter, and told them that he strangled their mother and locked her body at their house, before fleeing from the spot on Wednesday evening, officials said.
Chimanganj Mandi police station in-charge Jitendra Bhaskar said that the deceased’s son Harshit told the police that the accused, identified as Dinesh Chouhan (48), a resident of Raj Royal Colony, was married to another woman.
“Deceased Leelabai (42) had been living with the man for last two years as his second wife, and they often fought as she had been asking him to divorce his first wife,” said Bhaskar. TNN
