4 autodrivers arrested for attempted murder in Nishatpura

Bhopal: Four auto-rickshaw drivers allegedly attacked their friend, a 28-year-old man, while drinking together and injured him with a cutter blade in the Nishatpura locality on Monday night. The victim sustained severe injuries and was rushed to a hospital for treatment. Nishatpura police registered a case on charges of attempted murder against the accused and arrested them.Nishatpura SHO Rupesh Dubey said that the complainant, Raju Jatav, 28, a resident of Ratan Colony in Nishatpura, works as an auto-rickshaw driver. He, along with the accused Karan Thakur, Chand Nawab, Kallu, and Suhel, all auto-drivers, were drinking near a liquor shop in the Karond area. While drinking, the accused demanded more money from Raju. When he refused, the accused attacked him and slashed him with a cutter blade. Raju sustained severe injuries and was rushed to a hospital where he was undergoing treatment.
