BHOPAL: A 32-year-old woman allegedly fell to death when she had gone to check a water tank on the terrace of a three-storey house in Bairagarh locality on Thursday.
Investigating Officer ASI Asharam Marskole identified the deceased as Pooja Tiwari, a native of Mandla. She resided with her husband AK Tiwari, who is posted as Nayab Subedar in the Army, and a son at 3EME Centre in Bairagarh.
“On Thursday around 5.30 pm, when Pooja had gone to the terrace to check the water tank level, she accidentally lost balance and fell on the ground from the third floor terrace. As soon as her husband, who was walking close to the spot, came to know about the incident, he rushed Pooja to a hospital in 3EME campus, where she succumbed to multiple injuries while undergoing treatment around 7 pm,” said ASI Marskole, adding that the Pooja resided on the ground floor of the building. A case was registered at Bairagarh police station and further investigations are underway in the case.
