3 youths killed in hit-&-run case in Mandla
Jabalpur: Three youths were killed after their motorcycle was hit by a speeding unidentified vehicle in Mandla district. After conducting a primary enquiry, the police sent the bodies for post-mortem. The injured were admitted to the hospital for treatment.According to information from Tikaria Police Station in-charge Gopal Ghasle, Junaid and Zubair Khan from Mandla's Rajiv Colony, and Pradyumna from Bamhni, who are vehicle mechanics by profession, were heading to Jabalpur on three Bullet motorcycles to purchase vehicle parts. Near the village of Kudamaili, they were overtaking a vehicle when an unidentified vehicle coming at high speed from the opposite direction collided with their motorcycle head-on.The collision was so severe that Junaid and Pradyumna died on the spot. The injured Zubair Khan was sent to the district hospital in Mandla, but due to his critical condition, he was referred to Jabalpur. He died on the way to Jabalpur. The police registered a case against the unidentified vehicle and started investigating to trace it.
