BHOPAL: A 3-year-old boy drowned in a water-filled pit in Koh-e-Fiza area on Monday afternoon.
Investigation officer ASI Rakesh Shukla said that Reyansh Chourasia hailed from Gadhi in Raisen district. His father
Rajkumar works in Indore. Rajkumar along with family had gone to his hometown Raisen to perform his mother’s ‘Shraddh’ on Sunday. ASI Shukla said that on Monday, Rajkumar along with his family was returning to Indore.
They took a halt at his sister’s home in Rama Nagar in Lalghati.
Around 4pm when the family members were busy talking to each other Reyansh went out and drowned in a water-filled pit. When the family members found that Reyansh was missing for 20-25 minutes, they started searching for him and found him lying unconscious in a water-filled pit. They rushed him to Hamidia hospital where the boy died while undergoing treatment. Koh-e-Fiza police have registered a case.
