Bhopal: Three accused allegedly attacked and stabbed a 28-year-old youth in front of a tea stall in Govindpura locality over a petty dispute over having tea with friends on Monday night. The injured was rushed to a hospital where he was undergoing treatment. Acting on complaint, Govindpura police on Tuesday registered a case on charges of attempt to murder against the accused and arrested one of them.

M Raja, a resident of Anna Nagar in Govindpura, is in a private job. He said that he along with his two friends including S
Raja and Babu went to a tea stall located near Janta Quarter in Gautam Nagar to have tea on Monday night. Around 10.30pm, after having tea they were standing outside the tea stall.
Meanwhile, the accused Raja alias Hornet and Latif alias Golu reached the spot on a bike. Raja passed a comment on M Raja that he was having tea with children. Heated arguments took place between them, and Latif called his brother
Rashid to the spot. Rashid reached the spot with a knife and all three of them attacked M Raja. They stabbed him in the abdomen and fled the spot. M Raja sustained severe injury and was rushed to Hamidia hospital where he was undergoing treatment.
Govindpura police registered a case and arrested Latif while his brother Rashid and friend Raja alias Hornet were still on the run. Further investigations were on, police said.
