Bhopal: Two suicides were reported in the city on Sunday and Monday. In the first case, a 21-year-old B-Pharmacy student died by suicide in her flat in Bag Sewania area, on Monday morning. No suicide note was found at the scene.According to Bag Sewania police, the deceased, Vaishnavi Mukati, 21 a resident of Khandwa, lived alone in the apartment. Her neighbour, Anjali Mishra, told police that on Sunday evening, Vaishnavi ate dinner with her and then went back to her room. On Monday morning, one of Anjali's friends informed her that Vaishnavi's room door was latched from inside. When they peeped through, they spotted the body.In the second case, A 25-year-old engineer died allegedly by suicide at his residence in Rajharsh Colony, Kolar area on Sunday. Police recovered a suicide note from the scene, in which the deceased wrote only, "Personal matter, my choice." However, no clear reason for the suicide was mentioned. Kolar police said the deceased, Rohit Rajak, 25, lived with his parents and wife. The family told police that Rohit was working on his laptop in his room on Sunday afternoon. The family members also mentioned that he broke his mobile phone before taking the extreme step, though the reason for this remains unclear. A probe is on.
