13 held after raid at party in Jabalpur

Police raided a private property in Jabalpur, India at 3 AM and arrested 13 people, including the son of a retired official and a son of an influential person. The group is being charged with various crimes including music playing loudly at an unpermitted party, which led to complaints from local residents.

Jabalpur: Police raided a private property at 3 am and arrested 13 accused, including kin of officials, doctors and senior lawyers of the city. CSP Gorakhpur, Pratiksha Rathore said, “There was a party going on at an under construction house at Ritik Apartment. At around 3 am, locals complained of DJ sound being played. Acting on the complaint, police teams raided the spot and arrested 13 people, while a few managed to escape”.
Those arrested include Rahul Tiwari, Pranit Nagrath, Rajendra Singh Rajput, Rahul Khare, Rohit Khare, Shobhit Anand, Akshat Kumar, Aprit Agarwal, Anuj Awasthi and others. All have been booked under various sections, CSP Rathore said. Sources said that Rahul Tiwari is the son of retired additional SP of city Rajesh Tiwari. The son of influential persons, tried to pressurize police during the raids, but police teams arrested and brought them to the police station for requisite action, said sources. TNN
