BENGALURU: The state government has informed Karnataka high court that the Chief Minister ,who holds the BDA portfolio has consented for the proposal to amend the recently amended zoning regulations pertaining to Bengaluru city so as to bring the same in consonance with the affidavit filed on behalf of the BDA.
Government advocate also sought a week's accommodation for undertaking the said exercise.
Recording the same, a division bench headed by Justice K L Manjunath adjourned the hearing of a PIL filed by Namma Bengaluru Namma Bengaluru Foundation and others.
The petitioners had challenged the December 11, 2014 notification pertaining to "Zoning Regulation of Bangalore of the revised master plan-2015(amendment ) regulations-2014' citing that the notification is not in consonance with the views expressed by the court and also the resolution sent by BDA.
