: Two youths who were returning from a friend's place after Ramzan
dinner were killed after an unidentified vehicle rammed their two-wheeler near Upparapalli

on Friday night. The deceased are Krishne Gowda, 20, and Vijayakumar, 19, residents of Subash Road in Srinivasapur. Gowda was a first year degree student while Vijayakumar was a second PU student.
According to police, the duo was invited by some friends in Ronur for Ramzan dinner. They borrowed the bike of a newspaper hawker and left Srinivasapur at around 8pm. "They would have been returning from their friend's place when the incident took place around midnight," said Krishna, sub-inspector, Royalpad.
A milk vendor saw the bodies at 5.45am on Saturday. He found a bill of the Karnataka Insititute of Commerce in Srinivasapur from the pocket of a victim and informed the institute about the incident. Police have registered a case.
