Yesudas honoured

‘Gana Gandharvan' K J Yesudas was honoured with the S V Narayanaswamy Rao memorial award, 2011, in Bangalore on Sunday.
The award carries Rs 50,000 cash prize, citation and an idol of Lord Rama.
The veteran singer was felicitated by chief minister B S Yeddyurappa as part of the 73rd Sri Ramanavami celebrations of Sri Ramaseva Mandali trust being held at the Fort High Schoool Grounds in Chamarajpet.
