Bengaluru: A 55-year-old woman who jumped into a lake after a fight with her family drowned. Her daughter and son-in-law who tried to save her met the same fate in their village in

district on Tuesday night.
The incident took place around 8pm at Dammanakatte village near Kudur in Magadi taluk. The victims are

“Hanumantharaju and Sumithra jumped into the lake to save Siddamma. Their elder daughter ran into the village and informed others. Villagers rushed to the spot and found the couple’s second daughter Keerthana had also jumped and was struggling to breathe. They managed to pull her out but couldn’t rescue the other three,” a police officer said.
