Bengaluru: Wipro chairman Rishad Premji said his company does not tolerate any ‘integrity violation’. At the Nasscom Product Conclave in Bengaluru on Wednesday, Premji said the company has fired people in the past for this reason.
In one case, he said, an employee was found asking someone else to punch in attendance for him. “That person got fired immediately.
This person was well connected, and reached out through every form of medium to put a lot of pressure on the organisation to give him a clean relieving,” he said. In another instance, Premji said, one of the “top 20 employees” was asked to leave due to an issue of integrity.
