Wife bludgeons husband in drunken brawl

BANGALORE: A drunken brawl on Monday night between mason Gangappa, 48, and his wife Lakshmi took a deadly turn when she murdered him in their house in Parappana Agrahara.
Lakshmi was his second wife and they worked at a construction site near Shantinagar on Hosur Main Road. The first wife lives with two children near Bommanahalli. Lakshmi doesn't have any children.
The couple would drink and fight every day.On Monday, in a fit of rage, Lakshmi pulled out a wooden club and slammed Gangappa on his head, killing him instantly. Lakshmi panicked and tried to run away. Neighbours nabbed her and handed her over to the police.
