The new line will benefit around 5 lakh to 6 lakh residents of Bengaluru who work in information technology parks, export promotion industrial areas, malls, hospitals, and various Fortune 500 companies.
BEML limitations
BEML Limited has supplied five trains, each with six coaches, to operate on this route.
Expected opening date for public
The crucial link between KR Puram and Byappanahalli is expected to be operational by this June and once complete.
