The incident took place on March 9 at TC Palya traffic junction. Niranjan DR and his mother were in their car. "I was waiting at the signal around 9pm when a two-wheeler (KA-41-Q-9634), which was behind the car, continuously honked. The rider wanted me to make way, but I started only after the signal turned green. The rider and his pillion then abused me and my mother. When I objected, they followed me and broke the side mirror before escaping," Niranjan told police.
