BANGALORE: A truck driver and cleaner have escaped with a truckload of biscuits from Kengeri.
The cargo is worth over Rs 8 lakh.
In his complaint with the Kengeri police, truck owner Singrappa said he had been hired by a leading brand to deliver a truckload of biscuits to Hunsur in Mysore district. Driver Basavaraju and cleaner Ravi had left Bangalore in the truck two days ago.
However, they had not reached Hunsur, which is just 200 km away.
However, police said that Basavaraju returned a day later, and told them that he had not taken the truck at all. Since Ravi is missing, they suspect he made away with the load. They are investigating if Basavaraju is also involved in it.
