Toll revenue from national highways in Karnataka up 10% in 2024–25

Bengaluru: Toll collections on national highways across Karnataka have witnessed a sharp rise over the past three years, according to the central govt. ETC system is designed in such a way that no FASTag transaction can take place without participation of all three stakeholders — acquirer bank at user fee plaza, NPCI and issuer bank. Every transaction is transparently recorded and users are notified of deductions, which are stored in central repository- Nitin Gadkari, Union minister for road transport and highways
