Three-day Coffee Santhe in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: The Women's Coffee Alliance – India (WCAI) will host the seventh ‘Coffee Santhe' from Friday to Sunday at Freedom Park in the city. The annual fundraiser supports women coffee plantation workers through healthcare, education, nutrition, and skill development programmes.Key events include the Women Stars Brewer Championship and the Robusta Brewing Skills Championship, judged by an international panel. A cupping session will allow producers to showcase their coffee to buyers and experts. Coffee companies and cafes will display speciality brews, equipment, and coffee-related products.The event will also feature brewing demonstrations, coffee quizzes, and cultural performances. This year's focus is on Robusta coffee, highlighting its flavours and market potential. WCAI aims to promote awareness of women's contributions to the coffee industry while creating opportunities for networking, learning, and support for coffee-growing communities.
