Three commit suicide

BANGALORE: Three persons have committed suicide in separate incidents in Banasawadi police limits on Sunday. A 22-year-old girl killed herself at her residence in Kammanahalli. Vidya Prakash was a second-year BSc student at Mount Carmel College.
She hanged herself with a dupatta in her room. Her parents found her body. Police suspect Vidya was pressured by her family to marry a man not of her choice and hence, killed herself in desperation.
Twenty-seven-year-old Robin committed suicide at his house in Lingarajapuram by hanging from the ceiling.Robin was an unemployed graduate. He was also mentally challenged.
A man who had set himself ablaze on June 3 died at Victoria Hospital on Monday.
