Thithi bags 2 awards at Shanghai film fest

Bengaluru: Much-acclaimed Kannada movie Thithi, which was shot in a Mandya village, won the best film award at the 19th Shanghai International Film Festival. Eregowda and Raam Reddy were adjudged the best scriptwriters.
"Thithi wins Shanghai!! We won Best Film, and Best Script Writers for Eregowda and myself! Ere Gowda was such a pleasure building this film with you know! Congratulations! And for best film, huge congratulations to the rest of the team, Doron, John, Nithin and everyone else!.This is great, maybe the win since Locarno," an ecstatic Reddy, also the film's director, wrote on his Facebook wall.
