BENGALURU: Teshub Dinesh and Neeti Agrawal won the U-15 titles among boys and girls respectively at the MS Ramaiah memorial centenary year state ranking table tennis tournament organized by the Bangalore Rural District Table Tennis Association here on Monday.
Both Teshub and Neeti, who train at Checkmate, overcame tough opponents to clinch the titles.
Teshub defeated Ayush K 4-2, losing the third and fifth games before scoring a 11-7, 11-5, 10-12, 11-3, 7-11, 12-10 win. Neeti won the first two games against Parnavi but lost her way midway through and trailed 2-3. But she recovered in time to claim the last two games and prevail 11-3, 13-11, 10-12, 9-11, 9-11, 11-8, 12-10.
