Teen murder case: Another minor held

BENGALURU: Police on Friday arrested one more minor in connection with the murder of 19-year-old

, who was stabbed to death at

Hanumanthnagar

on Tuesday.

A resident of Kalidasa Layout in Srinagara, Harsha was allegedly attacked by a gang of teenagers because of a dispute over a mobile phone. On Tuesday , a group of attackers led by Shekhar alias Motte Shekhar stabbed Harsha in the back, while he was seated on a bike. He was playing a game on his mobile phone at the time of the incident.

Police have so far arrested six teenagers, of whom three are minors, in connection with the murder.

Cops said the minor, arrested on Friday , supplied the knife the attackers allegedly used. “Things will become clear once we arrest the prime accused, Shekhar,“ a police official said.
