Bengaluru: A 12-year-old girl fractured her ribs in an accident at a temporary amusement park near HAL on Thursday.
According to police, the incident took place while the girl, Anusha CK, was on a children’s jeep at the ‘Fish Theme Fair’ temporary amusement park in Anand Nagar, near HAL.
A criminal case has been registered against four people — Fharid,
Jagan, Sudhkar, and Venkatesh — based on a complaint filed by Anusha’s father
Chandrakanth C.
Police said Chandrakanth had taken Anusha to the fair and the girl got on the jeep there. The jeep, which was operating on a prefixed track, derailed at around 8.30pm. The girl fell to the ground and the vehicle fell on her. Chandrakanth and some others pulled her from under the jeep and rushed her to a nearby hospital.
Police said all four accused were questioned and released on station bail after their statements were recorded. Police have sought details from BBMP on whether the accused had permission to conduct the fair.
