Sneha will look to lord over field
Bengaluru: Order of Merit leader Sneha Singh will look to gift herself an early birthday present when the eighth leg of the Hero Women’s pro Golf Tour gets under way at the Clover Greens on the city outskirts on Wednesday.
The Hyderabad pro, who will turn 19 a day after the final round, has won two titles already this season and will look to dominate the field that is missing a few big names.
1x1 polls

Despite the absence of Diksha Dagar, Amandeep Drall, Vani Kapoor and Ridhima Dilawari, who are plying their trade on the Ladies European Tour, the Rs 12-lakh event will see 40 golfers, — the highest ever on the domestic tour — including five amateurs, battle for top honours at the par-72, 6,180-yard layout.
Besides Sneha, there are a handful of pros who are capable of being the last one standing. Seher Atwal, Gaurika Bishnoi and Tvesa Malik, who has played just three events this season, are some who will look to dash Sneha’s hopes of a third title.
Order of Merit (Top 5): 1. Sneha Singh; 2. Seher Atwal; 3. Vani Kapoor; 4. Amandeep Drall; 5. Gaurika Bishnoi.
