BENGALURU: The Siddaramaiah government on Friday announced the appointment of ministers responsible for various districts, 20 days after assuming power.

According to the government's directive, Bengaluru City will be overseen by Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar, Tumakuru by G Parameshwara, Gadag by H K Patil, Bengaluru Rural by K H Muniyappa, Ramanagara by Ramalinga Reddy, Chikkamagaluru by K J George, Vijayapura by M B Patil, Dakshina Kannada by Dinesh Gundu Rao, and Mysuru by H C Mahadevappa.

Furthermore, Satish Jarkiholi will be responsible for Belagavi district, Kalaburagi will be overseen by Priyank Kharge, Haveri by Shivanand Patil, Vijayanagara by B Z Zamir Ahmed Khan, Yadgir by Sharanabasappa Darshanapur, Bidar by Eshwar Khandre, Mandya by N Cheluvarayaswamy, Davangere by S S Mallikarjun, Dharwad by Santosh Lad, Raichur by Dr Sharan Prakash Patil, and Bagalkote by R B Thimmapur.

K Venkatesh has been given the responsibility of Chamarajanagara, Shivaraj Thangadagi - Koppal, D Sudhakar - Chitradurga, B Nagendra Ballari, K S Rajanna - Hassan, B S Suresh - Kolar, Laxmi Hebbalkar - Udupi, Mankal Vaidya - Uttara Kannada, Madhu Bangarappa - Shivamogga, Dr M C Sudhakar - Chikkaballapura, and N S Boseraju - Kodagu.
