Security guard smashed to death in Whitefield police limits

BANGALORE: A 60-year-old security guard was smashed to death in Whitefield police limits on Saturday.
The victim Linga Shetty was found dead with head injuries in a land where he worked as a guard at Bhuvaneshwarinagar. Police suspect old rivalry behind the killing.
"The victim had a fight with another guard, Basavaraj, over a trivial matter nearly three months ago.Basavaraj works at a guest house, located next to the land where Linga Shetty worked," police said. Linga Shetty was a native of Kanakapura.
