Sandalwood stands up for political awareness

Members of the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce, led by president and filmmaker SA Chinne Gowda, held posters and banners in Bengaluru recently, in a bid to urge people to be more aware of who they are

voting

for, and also stressed how they wanted everyone from the film industry to cast their votes in this parliamentary election. Meanwhile, in Mysuru, some of the members of the film industry flagged off a special run that upheld

democracy

. Among those who participated and motivated the runners were actors and mother-daughter duo Sudha Belawadi and Samyukta Hornad as well as actor Mandya Ramesh.
