Ryot held for selling tiger nails in Bengaluru

BENGALURU: A 55-year-old farmer was arrested for allegedly trying to sell five tiger nails in Chamarajpet, central Bengaluru.

Raghukumar claimed he procured the nails from some tribals in Chikkamagaluru and was trying to sell them in Bengaluru for a higher price.

Police are probing from where he actually got the nails since they are not convinced about the tribal angle.

An officer said they are planning to approach a court to conduct a brain-mapping test on the accused to ascertain the truth.
