Rohini seeks restraint order against media

Bengaluru: IAS officer Rohini Sindhuri has moved the city civil court seeking a restrainting order against the media from telecasting and publishing anything in relation to her ongoing spat with IPS officer D Roopa.The 73rd city civil judge posted the matter to Thursday for passing orders with regard to an interlocutory application filed by the IAS officer seeking interim relief in the case.Rohini has claimed that IPS officer Roopa had defamed her through social media by posting her photographs and also her mobile number, which resulted in she receiving hundreds of calls from the public.The court was told that the petitioner had already taken all legal steps, including a representation to the chief secretary, and also filed a police complaint. tnn
