Rohini plea: Court restrains Roopa, media

Bengaluru: A city civil court on Thursday restrained IPS officer D Roopa and media organisations from making/reporting derogatory and defamatory remarks against IAS officer Rohini Sindhuri.
Roopa’s comments against Sindhuri on social media triggered a storm earlier this week. Taking exception, the government transferred both officers without providing them any posting.Sindhuri’s husband Sudhir Reddy had filed a police complaint against Roopa three days ago.tnn
