Rivals using black magic: Former Congress corporator BT Srinivasa Murthy

BENGALURU: Former Congress corporator BT Srinivasa Murthy approached police alleging that unidentified miscreants had resorted to black magic to kill him.


Murthy, 67, told Chamrajpet police that someone had thrown a black plastic cover containing a decapitated head of a pig, sprinkled with vermillion and flowers, outside his house. He said he found the cover placed outside the gate of his residence on IV Main, Chamrajpet on the morning of November 27. "It shows that my enemies are trying to kill me using black magic. This is a bid to finish my political career too," he said.

Police said they are collecting CCTV footage.
