Rival gang abducts,strangles realtor
A real estate agent was kidnapped and murdered by a gang of criminals headed by another realtor in Yelahanka New Town.
He was found stabbed and strangled next to a drain near a theatre. Muni Anjanappa's wife lodged a complaint with the Yelahanka police on Monday night that a gang headed by Bullet Ravi abducted her husband in a multi-utility vehicle.
According to police, Ravi and the deceased had differences over several transactions. In fact, Yelahanka police have three criminal cases pending in this regard.
In October 2005, Ravi and Muni Anjanappa sorted out differences in the presence of mediators. However, they clashed again over a land transaction a week ago.
Somebody called Muni Anjanappa on Monday night to work out a deal with Ravi and asked him to come to a phone booth in Yelahanka New Town.
When Muni Anjanappa reached the place, Ravi and his gang stabbed him. Ravi and his gang of Nagesh, Praveen and Basava are absconding.
