Rangi Taranga completes 1-year run

Bengaluru: Directed by debutant Anup Bhandari and produced by HK Prakash, Rangi Taranga has become the first Kannada movie to be screened for 365 days at mutiplexes. The movie is still playing at Inox, Mantri Mall and Cinepolis, Meenakshi Mall in the city.

To mark the feat, the makers re-released the movie across several theatres in the state, with a few added sequences.

A function celebrating the movie's success will be held at Singapore on Saturday and the film is slated to be released again in the US and across 11 centres in Europe in mid-July. The film stars debutants Nirup Bhandari, Avantika Shetty and Radhika Chetan.
