This includes the possibility of two more deputy chief ministers — Gokak MLA

Ramesh Jarkiholi

(ST) and KS Eshwarappa (Kuruba). This means Jarkiholi joins

Laxman Savadi

and CN Ashwath Narayan as DyCM who hail from Belagavi and Bengaluru respectively.

Of the maximum 34-member cabinet, it also means the cabinet will get three more additions from each of the two districts. There are already four from Bengaluru and two from Belagavi.

The results mean that winners from

Mahalakshmi Layout

(K Gopalaiah), Yeshwantpura (ST Somashekar) and KR Pura (Byrathi Basavaraju), Kagwad (Shrimant Patil), Gokak (Ramesh Jarkiholi) and Athani (Mahesh Kumatalli) will join the Yediyurappa cabinet.
