BANGALORE: The state government on Wednesday effected a minor reshuffle of IAS officers and posted Jawaid Akhtar as the director of Information Technology (IT) and Bio-Technology Department.
A.K. Monappa has been appointed as director, special economic programmes and ex-officio joint secretary, rural development and panchayat raj department while E.V.
Ramana Reddy has been appointed as the agriculture commissioner. S. Selva Kumar has been appointed as deputy secretary, department of personnel and administrative reforms and Ritvik Ranjanam Pandey has been posted as deputy secretary (III) finance department.
M.S. Srikar has been appointed as joint commissioner of commercial taxes (intelligence), south zone, while Ramalingam Ramaseshan has been appointed as officer on special duty, Karnataka State Beverages Corporation and ex-officio secretary, finance department.
H. Basker has been posted as executive director, Karnataka Watershed Development Society and M. Madan Gopal has been transferred as managing director, Karnataka Handloom Development Corporation Ltd. Gangaram Baderiya is deputy commissioner, Kodagu and Srikanth Walgad has been posted as deputy commissioner, Bagalkot.
