Rajajinagar T20 champs

Bengaluru: Rajajinagar Cricketers came up with an all-round display to emerge champions at the KSCA T20 tournament for G Kasturirangan memorial trophy here on Saturday. They beat Coles Cricket Club by five wickets in the final with Rahul Prasanna (3-33), Rohit K (56) and Rohan N (62 n.o) playing an integral role in the victory. Batting first, Coles put up a competitive 171/7 with Chethana LR (59) and Shashindra K (46) guiding their team after Prasanna, who bowled 11 dot balls, and Sharath HS (2-33) dealt crucial blows for Rajajinagar.
Despite losing key man Rohan Kadam (5) early on, Rajajinagar reached the target in the 18th over. No.3 batter Rohit K slammed a 28-ball 56, comprising five fours and five sixes. Rohan N was equally impressive in his unbeaten 32-ball knock, laden with five fours and four sixes as Rajajinagar raced to victory.
