As many as 41 medical teams were pressed into service at various rain-batterred areas of the city on Sunday.

BANGALORE: As many as 41 medical teams were pressed into service at various rain-batterred areas of the city on Sunday.
The teams would be conducting medical checks of the rain-affected people.
Each team, comprising 11 members, was provided with ambulance facility and necessary medicines, Bruhut Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) Commissioner Subramanya said in Bangalore.

The BBMP on Sunday demolished two buildings built by encroaching storm-water drains, he said adding the drive would continue.
There were no reports of any epidemic outbreak in the water-logged areas, he said.
The city today received rain for some time.
