BENGALURU: Kannada titles' low popularity on a platform like Flipkart has very little to do with authors. There is little understanding of technology and marketing in the Kannada publishing world. They know their world is limited and seem to be content with the size of their target group. In this e-book generation, people get to know about books on the day of release but if they don't get to read it, how will their interest grow? Publishers have to try and reach out to the world commercially.
