bellary: the karnataka federation of pre-university education officers, principals, lecturers and non-teaching staff will organise a state- level conference on december 22, federation president kandra sreeramulu said here on sunday. the conference will be presided over by the karnataka pradesh congress committee president allum veerabhadrappa. primary education minister h.
viswanath, major irrigation and water resource minister h.k. patil and local ministers m.y. ghorpade, his deputy m. diwakar babu, rajya sabha member k.c.kondaiah will be the guests of honour. the conference will focus on bifurcation of pre-university education, reforms in examinations, syllabus and reforms. experts will present papers on various issues in the debate session. sreeramulu, who is principal, government pre-university college, bellary, said the thinking of government pertaining to the education system must be pro-development. he regretted that the government was taking unilateral decisions on issues concerning the pu education. therefore, the federation will urge the government to implement the decisions that will be taken at the conference.
