BENGALURU: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be launching Covid vaccination programme in two hospitals from Karnataka, through a virtual conference on January 11 at 4pm, said Karnataka health minister K Sudhakar.
One hospital from Bengaluru and one from Hubballi district in north Karntaka have been chosen.
While addressing the media on Saturday, the minister said that a total of 5,000 vaccination sites in India are to be launched for vaccination.

"This includes 235 vaccination sites from Karnataka," he said.
Karnataka will be receiving 13.9 lakh Covid vaccines shortly. "There are more than 29,000 vaccine storage units in the state to store the vaccines," he said.
