Are you happy with the sentence?
I am happy he has to spend the rest of his life in jail though I am disappointed he has not got death sentence.
How about appeal for a harsher sentence in the high court?
If the government appeals for capital punishment, fine. I heard minister Veerappa Moily saying on TV that they would think about taking the issue forward.
1x1 polls
I'd appreciate that.
Shivakumar has been invoking Girish Babu's name.
It's clear that he's employing the same diversionary tactic that he did after he was arrested. He had accepted to the crime and later came up with that name to claim that Girish was in the wrong. Immediately police questioned Girish and learnt he was not at the spot. He must have realized that his game was up.
What convinces you that Shivakumar committed the crime?
My sister saw him when he came to pick up Pratibha. And it was Shivakumar who led the search for Pratibha's body three days after he committed the crime. I was part of the search party. He showed us the spot where he had raped and murdered her and also showed us the body near a slope. Only a person who has committed the crime can know the exact spot. He accepted before police that he had committed the crime.
