BANGALORE: The high court on Monday rejected the anticipatory bail plea of KPSC's former chairman H N Krishna on an FIR registered by police over irregularities in KPSC exams held in 1998, 1999 and 2004.
''These are serious allegations of bias and discrimination... The matter needs thorough investigation, which is in public interest. Hence, anticipatory bail cannot be granted," Justice H Billappa observed.
It rejected the criminal petition of Krishna, who is state information commissioner now.
The judge, however, granted anticipatory bail to Asha Parveen, Y B Archana and Salma Firdose, the three selected candidates who have been accused of submitting forged/false caste certificates.
