Nithyananda files plea for unedited videos

BANGALORE: Swami Nithyananda on Monday filed an application before the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ramanagaram, seeking direction to the CID to furnish unedited audio and video recordings of the interrogation he was subjected to between April 21 and April 30, 2010.
In his application, Nithyananda said: "Almost all the media stories attribute their source to the CID. Some have said that Paramahamsa Nithyananda confessed to having sex with 15 women, others have said that Paramahamsa Nithyananda confessed to having uncontrollable sexual urges on Amavasya or Poornima.''
In an application filed before court on March 19, 2011, Nithyananda stated that he never did offer or utter any statement even remotely incriminating himself.He has again stated that he never admitted to ever having sex with any of his devotees.
The magistrate issued notice to the CID to file their objections by March 31.
