Domestic and international dignitaries can look forward to a more comfortable flying experience from Bengaluru International Airport (BIA) with the inauguration of a new VIP lounge on Friday by chief secretary S V Ranganath.

BANGALORE: Domestic and international dignitaries can look forward to a more comfortable flying experience from Bengaluru International Airport (BIA) with the inauguration of a new VIP lounge on Friday by chief secretary S V Ranganath.
The new lounge, located on level-1 of the terminal, is equipped with Wi-Fi facility, televisions and flight information display systems.

The lounge is operational 24/7 and can accommodate 20 guests at a time.
"We aim to offer each of our passengers with an exceptional transit experience," said G V Sanjay Reddy, MD of BIA. The other lounges in the terminal building include the Oberoi lounge in the international departure area, Kingfisher and Air India lounges in domestic departure and a VIP reserved lounge on the ground floor.
PORTAL GETS MAKEOVER
BIA has revamped its portal for better user experience. The portal, www.bengaluruairport.com, has single click access to data, FAQ and support features, mobile support like flight updates through SMS, better information access to terminal services, maps, parking, airport connectivity and web-based tracking and monitoring.
