BANGALORE: Neelaambari, directed by Surya is at last getting ready to hit the big screen after nearly 10 months of graphic works, shooting and song recording.

"as we wanted to use graphics and there was a lot of re-recording, it too us nearly 10 months to complete the film.

the film will be released either on october 19 or october 26." according to subbu, who has also acted in the film, the story is basically about beauty __ physical and inner beauty. "there is suspense and emotional drama in the climax. we are dubbing the film into telugu, tamil and hindi." one of the highlights of the film is the 31.5 minute graphics done by prakash, who is also called `effect prakash' for his graphic expertise. kari subbu, who is in the film industry for the past 20 years, said his earlier production naga devathe was a success. for neelaambari, the production team has taken 29 days for re-recording. "i think it is a record in the kannada film industry. earlier, we had taken 25 days for the re-recording of naga devathe." rajesh ramanath, music director, explained the dts effects used in the film and said it took 25 days to perfect the sound effects. the stars are devaraj, suman, vinod alva, ramya krishna, prema, tara, charulatha and charu hasan. there are five songs in the film. ashwath returns as ramaiah meshtru veteran actor k.s. ashwath, who has delighted his fans in different kinds of roles, is acting as ramaiah meshtru (ramaiah teacher) in the serial namma meshtru directed by his son, shankar ashwath. it may be recalled that about 25 years ago, ashwath had acted in the runaway hit nagarahaavu as ramaiah meshtru directed by puttanna kanagal. the 52-episode serial will be telecast in chandana channel from october 25 between 6.30 pm and 7 pm. incidentally, leelavathi, who had acted as ashwath's wife in nagarahaavu is also acting in the serial as his spouse, promising to take the viewers back to nagarahaavu. the others in the serial include sridevi and sadashiva brahmavar. while dialogues have been written by yoganarasimha, t subramanya has handled the camera.
