Mungaru Male producer to try his luck

BANGALORE: Producer of Kannada hit `Mungaru Male', E Krishnappa, retiring MLCs Naseer Ahmed, N Manjunath, Veerakumar A Patil and Pratap Chandra Shetty, former legislators Mahima Patel and T John are among the candidates finalized for elections to 25 MLC seats from local authorities constituencies. The voters are elected members of panchayats and urban local bodies.
The Congress is contesting 17 and the JD(S) 8, with both parties fielding candidates for Bangalore Rural and Chitradurga seats.The BJP is yet to release the full list.
Tuesday is the last day for filing of nomination papers for the December 18 elections.
