Rajashekhar, 33, from Ballari, told the media in New Delhi that he was gathering information on sex scandals of two ministers and three MLAs. “I came to New Delhi to meet Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi as I didn't get an appointment with either chief minister Siddaramaiah or KPCC president G Parameshwara,“ he added.

Rajashekhar claimed that he was not the one who had released the CD to the media, as he doesn't have the tape. “I have only viewed the CD. But I have information about similar escapades of two ministers and three MLAs, which will take me about a month to gather all details,“ he said.

Hedging queries on when and how he learnt about the existence of the CD, Rajashekhar said his intention was to make a small effort in eradicating corruption in society. “I don't want to become a hero. My issues should become the hero,“ he maintained.

He plans to apprise Rahul Gandhi on “how the Congress govern ment in Karnataka was trying to stifle the Lokayukta institution and misuse the police department, farmers' deaths and other issues“.

According to him, Siddaramaiah should be held responsible for trying to cover up Meti's case, when talk about the existence of the CD was there since a couple of days.
